The Role:

Avolon is appointing a Technical Asset Manager - Data Analysis to our Dublin office reporting directly to the Senior Technical Asset Manager.

Core Duties:

-Work effectively within the Asset Management Team to maintain the technical accuracy and integrity of all portfolio assets;
-Liaise with the broader Technical team and with internal departments such as Pricing, Origination, Credit Risk and Contracts to support technical activities associated with on-lease aircraft;
-Perform aircraft specific fly-forward analysis to provide economic and maintenance status outlook, with a focus on identifying exposure;
-Assist all trading activity as required, including due diligence query management, economic analysis and specification reviews;
-Perform technical calculations such as End of Lease Compensations, Letter of Credit / Maintenance Reserve Escalations and Reconciliations, Lessor Contributions, etc.;
-Support the wider technical department by assisting with a Cost and Maintenance Reserve Rate analysis;
-Perform lease reviews as required to support the above functions
-Maintain accurate, well-structured filing systems for technical records, reports and industry data;
-Maintain and produce analytical reports to support the wider business;
-Help to develop the processes and systems utilised in Avolon`s Technical area to ensure the highest quality output;
-Attend Seminars and Conferences as may be requested;
-Work flexibly to meet the global nature of Avolon`s business;
-Dublin office based and willingness to travel to meet operational needs.

Essential Skills and Experience:

-Degree or EASA/FAA Aircraft Maintenance Engineer`s License;
-Minimum of 5 years` leasing experience in an engineering or data analysis role;
-Proven experience in aircraft asset management, particularly maintenance and cashflow forecasting and modelling;
-Familiarity with modern narrow-body and wide-body aircraft maintenance requirements;
-Exceptional MS Excel skills - forecasting, exposure analysis etc.


-Excellent communication skills, with the ability to identify and report quickly on critical issues;
-Strong analytical and data processing skills;
-Strong organizational, multi-tasking and prioritization skills;
-Keen attention to detail, with strong IT skills;
-Self-motivated and enjoy working in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment;
-Microsoft Office - MS Excel, OEM websites, CMS and STREAM systems.
