Based in Dublin and reporting directly to the Head of Project Management & Technology, the Program Manager will be responsible for overall co-ordination, day-to-day management and execution of projects and programs aligned to achieving Avolon`s corporate objectives.
The role requires prior experience in both program management and process improvement/re-engineering to assist with the achievement of our objectives on an ongoing basis.
-Plan, scope, organize and execute on strategic and multi-process programs for Avolon
-Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements and assist with implementation of optimized solutions
-Co-ordinate and manage all activities related to each program
-Manage external vendors throughout the program lifecycle
-Liaise with internal stakeholders to scope, design, test and review each phase of the program pre-implementation
-Manage and control program timelines, risks and budgets
-Assess program performance on an ongoing basis and produce weekly reports
-Mitigate program risks and issues and manage change requests
-Any other tasks as may be assigned by the Head of Project Management and Technology
Essential Skills and Experience:
-Relevant third level qualification with a minimum of three years` experience in a similar role
-Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methodologies (project management qualification desirable)
-Demonstratable experience in business process optimization and strategic program planning, development, implementation and ongoing management
-Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high attention to detail
-Foresight to anticipate and address potential risks and issues
-Robust program management and co-ordination skills
-Self-motivated with an ability to work independently in a fast-paces, dynamic environment
-Ability to learn and master new technologies and processes
-Flexible and adaptable, with and ability to manage multiple stakeholders
